So I went to see a local renowned urologist and voiced my opinions about getting embolization , he stated that the veins are not big enough yet and that It would still cause me discomfort and ultimately not work, is this correct? I also mentioned to him about the nerve pain type feeling that I’m getting on my left legs upper half above the knee. He left the room to take another look at the ultrasound and came back and told me he thinks I have a pinched back nerve and send me a referral for an mri. He pretty much told me during this visit that my varicocele is not major as of right now and that I need to look at the whole anatomy before I even think about surgery. I feel like I shut down when he started telling me all this and the questions that I’ve had been saving for months completely slipped my mind. “Like doesn’t low testosterone affect mood and anxiety” I believe hormones as a man is very important because it “makes” us who we are. So as someone who already suffers from anxiety and depression and drug dependency, I just genuinely want to know how can I feel like myself again?
