How likely is it that a primary care physician will be able to diagnose a varicocele on the spot?
Post Body

A while back I noticed a sort of growth on the bottom of my left testicle. I did some reading and I think what I have may be a varicocele: it feels like a "bag of worms." From some positions it it *slightly* visible while standing. There is absolutely no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Anyways, I made an appointment to have my primary care physician take a look at this. How likely is it that he will be able to make a diagnosis on the spot (assuming it is a varicocele)? Would he be able to tell right away that it is what it is? Would this need to be repaired surgically (assuming it is causing no pain or anything)? For some context, I'm 25 years old.
