Bought the nano several months ago and have been using it as my daily driver ever since.
I’ve bought a lot of FM Vapes over the years and always had expected, satisfied results from them. Not great, not terrible but solid budget pieces.
The nano was supposed to be sort of the end -all budget Vape with all the bells I wanted. Crazy small, 18650 and I’m a sucker for that built in stem storage.
For maybe a month it was everything I wanted for the most part. The stem Clogs easier than most FMs but I loved the portability and the thing can put out some pretty good Vape.
There’s unfortunately one MASSIVE problem with this Vape that has made using it extremely frustrating after a few months now.
The way the stem on this vape works is that it screws on top of the chamber like most FMs. The nano stem isn’t as beefy as the old FM and you can kind of tell with the threading.
After repeated screwing and unscrewing the stem, the actual threaded section of the chamber will be come loose from the device itself. It will still work, and if the device is cool you’d never know. But after my standard 390,400,410 sessions... you literally can’t unscrew the stem.
The stem will actually just spin inside the chamber. You have to wait until the device cools down. Once it does the stems screws out perfectly fine.
This problem gets worse and worse over time. I have verified with several people here that this happens to theirs as well.
I attempted to contact FM regarding this. Contacting them in general is difficult and it took 3 weeks to get a reply that I had to bug their Facebook page to get. Their reply was in highly broken English and offered no resolution at all. Now I can’t even find the nano for like less than $100 which is way more than I paid for it.
Flowermate, been with you guys as one of your cheapskate customers for a LONG time. You’ve successfully made me no longer interested in your products.
If anyone knows of a compact vape that doesn’t suck, hits hard and is made by a company that’s interested in keeping me around let me know.
