DAE occasionally not feel anything from their dry herb vape?

Occasionally I’ll hit my vaporizer and not feel anything. Loaded and packed fully, vaped for a full session. But nothing. Other times I can hit it and get sent to the moon.
Maybe it’s my loading technique? Maybe it’s my tolerance? Just wondering if anyone else has a similar experience with their dry herb vape.
