Throat irritation with Solo III that I didn’t have with the II

I recently upgraded to a Solo III after my used and abused Solo II finally died.

I’ve never had an issue with the old one irritating my throat. Would cough once every dozen times I used it. The new one is really REALLY causing a lot of throat irritation and coughing fits. Enough that I’ve had to put it down because my i was getting heart rate warnings on my watch.

I don’t want to have to use it through a water pipe and I’m just not understanding what I’m doing wrong.

Current settings are session mode for 8 mins at 370°. I would be at 390° on the older II but the first time I tried that in the new one it almost killed me.
