The way the audience refused to buy what the producers were selling about the redemption arc of Tom Sandoval made me so satisfied. After the first few episodes I was worried that people were going to believe his shitty portrayal as a changed man but I’m so glad I was wrong.
I just love the friendship with Ariana and Katie and if this really is the end of VPR, where the cast ended up is so sweet. The Toms are going through a mid life crisis, broke and needing to be room mates. Ariana and Katie opening up their business and both entering their hot girl eras and Lala and Sheena showing what jealous, fake and hypocritical users they are.
In the finale, the cast all complained about Ariana not talking to Tom that she wasn’t being authentic however by putting up healthy boundaries and keeping them, she showed us who have been cheated on in a similar way just how strong one can be. Let’s not forget the end of last season where she spoke to him a week after it all broke and had the cameras up. It should also be said that scene is what one them the Emmy so to say she was not being authentic is a joke.
Thank you all for watching this season and putting LVP and the producers on notice. The unwavering rejection of gaslighting and rallying behind the real victim really made me so satisfied!
