Post Body

Has anyone bought Salmon from the natives at Cascade Locks? What should I expect to pay? How many pounds generally? I’m looking to buy a whole Salmon that hasn’t been gutted or cleaned yet. Do they sell those? Is it worth the drive?

If you can, go to the spot near North Bonneville. Their prices are better, and also better than anything you'll pay in the stores. Plus you know it's locally caught. My family always buys from them during the season.

As for getting a whole fish should be doable. Usually they cute it up there for you, so if you want it some other way, you just need to ask.
