Flashing Lights Rocket launch?

So last night APR 18 at about 9-10pm near the BG Lake we saw a bunch of flashing blue lights that lit up thr sky sort of like a transformer blowing up happened about 3 times then it stopped but afterwards we saw a rocket be launched into thr sky straight up????? It had a smoke trail and it went so fast by the time we pulled over to look it was Gone but was then followed up by a helicopter over the area and planes flying over??? Can anyone comfirm or deny this at all
