Moving to downtown Vancouver, could I get some opinions on a few areas?
Post Body

I'm looking at a few studios and would love your opinions on these buildings and the area. All around the $2200 - 2500 range

  • 510 Richards
  • Shoreline West End, 1763 Comox St
  • Zephyr (1661 Davie St & 1181 Cardero St)
  • Wesley Place (1022 Nelson Street)

I mostly want to know about safety, smell, noise, food/groceries nearby, and access to public transportation! I've looked up a lot on maps already but want sort of a vibe check on these places from real people, thanks!

Personally I would t wanna live that close to the hospital. Will be very busy and noisy

It totally depends what your vibe is. I briefly lived downtown on robson and Richards. It’s very loud, hot, smelly haha. But you’re close to all amenities and transit. Personally I prefer more of a neighbourhood feeling with community and character so I moved to east van (commercial broadway). I’m just moments from the train line though and can be downtown in under 20 minutes. I found living downtown to be so expensive for groceries. Also driving of any sort was such a headache and added at least an extra 15 minutes or more just to get out of downtown. I’m a single Woman and didn’t feel safe always but this is just my experience.
