i have an 84 norco triathlon that i’ve been using as a 650b randonneur for something like 8 years now. the front rack has been held by p clamps the whole time and i’m tired of having to deal with the flex and occasional shifting on the tapered fork legs.
thought i was going to replace the bike but it’s been rock solid, just this one nagging issue i’d like to solve. anyone in town who could do a good job welding on proper rack mounts?
as a bonus, if this person could also do a gentle re-rake of the fork that would be cool too.
