Bonfire areas?

Post Body

I'm wondering if anyone knows somewhere I can drive out and have a bonfire? I'm from the island and growing up we had tons of places we could drive out 30-40 mins to that were basically big wide open pits where you could have a fire away from everything.

Long story short my girlfriend and I met 10 years ago at one or those large bonfires so I'm hoping for our anniversary I can re create in a way with a large fire out in the woods somewhere, might be looking to ask a certain question. I guess it would be similar to campsites like there are at jones lake but somewhere closer, langleyish type area.

Some things I want to mention: -safety is a number one concern here, I'll have a fire extinguisher and multiple 20 litre bottles of water, this is definitely not my first campfire/bonfire. -ill be burning just scrap spf and standard (not chep) pallets. -we live together and it's just the two of us so it's a covid safe thing. -driving is not an issue, it's mostly just make sure we're away and seculded while also not trespassing.
