Anyone know of such a place around Vancouver where you can get close to hawks/eagles/falcons etc? Being able to hold one would be neat too... Or at least the opportunity to get good photos of wild ones. I have a half-decent DSLR kit including a 50-500 lens that I could bring along if it doesn't put me over luggage weight limits!

I'm attending a weekend convention at the beginning of March (I'm coming from Ontario) but I have a few days after the weekend to do some sightseeing before I fly home. I'm trying to think of a few neat things to do that can be done as a day-trip. I've explored downtown a couple times already so that's not overly interesting any more. Nature is more interesting to me, and I know there's a lot of it around Vancouver!
