IUD removal in Van

Post Body

Hi all! I feel so weird posting this but I don’t know what to do. I have been for multiple ultrasounds and it’s been determined my IUD strings are embedded and I need to get it removed, I’ve been waiting to get in by referral since August to an OBGYN but no appointment date yet & my Dr. already tried and isn’t able to remove it. I’ve been having waves of excruciating pain and really just want it out, does anyone have any recommendations on where to go? I feel like my Dr. Is just passing it off as not urgent as she thinks there’s no rush to get it removed 🥺

Willow clinic is fitting me in first thing tomorrow ❤️ they were SO nice and accommodating

They said the strings are curled up and are grown into tissue & that the iud is sitting a little higher than it should. I’ve had two pelvic & internal ultrasounds, but I’ve had a lot of intense cramping from it comparable to what a ovarian cyst burst feels like but a little different. My doctor said removal is too difficult for her to do unfortunately & the wait seems endless for the gyne. Maybe ER is the way to go? I just don’t want to waste anyones time or resources but I feel like I’ve been in so much pain my quality of life is suffering

I’ll take that as an option at this point 😂😂💀
