What to report to landlord/building manager?

Hey there,

Still relatively new in Canada. What sort of things should I be reporting to the person who manages the apt I live in?

Since I moved into this apt a year and a half ago, I’ve noticed the wooden floor has gotten a bit stained (not from dropping things, just natural dark spots in the wood creases). Some walls look a little bit more “swollen” and cracked (from humidity I guess).

Are this things you need to be reporting? Or only if they become a problem? Are those things I should be fixing? Or is that not my responsibility?

Its an older building in the west end.
