How screwed am I?
Post Body
38/m
Class 3 obesity (just started mounjaro for weight loss, down 20 lbs so far in a month)
I am meeting with a surgeon on 9/4. Cardiologist thinks ill likely get a mechanical valve. Besides the valve replacement, I have a lot more work scheduled...
On a scale of 1-10, how complex is this?
- SubAS Resection: Removal of the subaortic stenosis.
- LVOT Enlargement: Enlarging the left ventricular outflow tract.
- Aortic Valve Replacement: Replacing the aortic valve.
- Aortic Root Replacement: Replacing the aortic root.
- RV-PA Conduit Replacement: Replacing the conduit between the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery
My history is
- Subclavian Flap Repair for coarctation of the aorta as an infant.
- Aortic Valvotomy and Subaortic Stenosis Resection (1987).
- Repeat Subaortic Stenosis Resection and Aortic Valve Repair (1991).
- Ross Procedure with 23 mm Pulmonary Homograft (1998).
- Pulmonary Valve Replacement (PVR) with a 25 mm bioprosthetic valve and Ascending Aorta Graft Repair with a 26 mm Ultramax Double Velour graft (2009).
