Do we know the state of eSports for VG, and if we will ever return to regular leagues with lots of teams like before? (Also a question for devs)
Post Body

As the title states, I’m curious about the state of esports, and if the devs have any info if esports might be making a major return any soon.

Back in 3v3, when VG esports were in their prime, it really was super exciting to watch and keep up with. I was rather new to the game about 2 years ago, and I learned a lot from watching pros play. I watch a lot of LCS (although I don’t play league really), I’m a big TSM supporter and I was happy to watch their VG counterparts do well.

I was really disappointed when esports pretty much ceased to exist for VG. I somewhat understand why it happened, with the orgs not holding up their part on contracts and SEMC losing money, it was a let down to stop watching.

In the past 2 years, I feel like I’ve improved quite a bit (as of today, I hit top 1300 in NA), and I really do have a genuine interest in really improving skills and it is my dream to play pro VG one day. I’m 17yo and I think I have a lot of time to improve and be ready.

Is there any chance that esports will return eventually, with the return of all of the big orgs and being back the way it used to be? If any devs are reading this and have any info they could share, that would really be awesome.
