I'm finally admitting to myself that I do in fact have vaginismus, for years I thought I was just some weirdo that didn't particularly enjoy penetrative sex. My question is how do I go about treating it? I enjoy me time but it's clitoral stimulation no penetrative. It's not that I don't want to enjoy penetrative sex I do & am really turned on in the moment I wouldn't say I'm not wet enough it's not so much issue with it going in it's more not being able to get it far in without a lot of pain.

It's quite severe imo like pap smears hurt even with the extra small speculum. I've been prescribed muscle relaxants to take prior to exame but it is still very uncomfortable. I also had to get an internal sonogram thing for other reasons & I had to be heavily sedated to deal with this as in they had to give me extra during the procedure as I wasn't coping.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated
