I know u can never predict or estimate accurately how long hitching might take... but im used to hitching without a dog, and have traveled quickly doing so, sometimes transversing the country as fast as one would if driving it.. with my longest time trying to find a ride taking ~2days, from a truck stop in SD heading west..
Well can anyone provide their experience with how having a dog will affect that? I got a 6yo golden retriever, and my main concern is just getting far enough south quick enough to not have to deal with the cold for too long..
We're in Michigan, got a hotel voucher for a week but tonights the last night. I might try and get another week... but id have to pay for my dog which would leave me flat broke again... hmmm
