Has anyone taken GEOG 218 or GEOG 276?

So I've decided to take once course during the Winter semester just to keep myself a little busy. Im deciding between GEOG 218 and 276, and wondering if what peoples experiences have been with these course. How is the instructor? Was the class challenging? what was the work load like? I just want to figure out if it will be worth it to get a more challenging class out of the way when it can be my singular focus for the semester.
