My degree came in the mail (yay!) but it only has my first and last name. I noticed on the commencement book the same thing and thought maybe it was a typo or that when I filled out the graduation application, I left off my middle initial. I tried to check online if it was a typo and how to get it changed because I don't usually leave my middle initial off documents or important signatures. I noticed on the school system online there is no middle name or initial registered for me which is so odd. So I called the registar office and was told that what ever the school has in the system is the name that gets printed. So I asked why isn't my middle name in the system and was told it was due to my application. I logged on to apply Texas and my middle name is there on my application. So now I have to wait for the registar office to call me back to let me know what the situation is and hopefully get a new degree sent to me.

TLDR: Check your name on the mymav system to make sure transcripts and other documents will have your correct full name. mymav→personal information→personal details→ names.
