None of these necessarily add up to anything, nor are parts of my solve, parts of which I may add if said solve fails;

"If you suffer pain that can be cured with gold" -obviously at this point, Hernan Córtes quote establishing him as "he" (reinforced by clue) -Establishes theme of Spanish Conquest (reinforced by "Goonies" theme, as well as Spanish poem) -May imply significance of gold -May imply significance if medicine -Connections between Gold and Medicine include Dentistry and Arthritis treatment

"Look for the shortcut where the choir sings" Shortcut: -Bridges: Man-made shortcuts over water -Canyons: Natural shortcuts through mountains -Tunnels: Man-Made shortcuts through mountains -Roads/Paths: Man-Made shortcuts connecting A-B -Possibly something with historical connection as a shortcut (similar to Hastings Cuttoff for Donner Party) "Where the choir sings" -Near a church or choir hall -East of anything describable as an altar (Church) (2 Chronicals 5:12-14) -Could just be a connection to religion/God in a more broad sense (ie. Look for the shortcut, specifically where something religious is)

"Find the place by which it is named" -Find something named after either the shortcut, or final destination within the shortcut -Find the sign naming the shortcut or destination -Could be used to reinforced previous clue, look for significant names

"Turn around and follow the shadow" -At this point we know that means following a shadow on Google Maps Satellite View. Regardless of what that is, shadows on Google Maps point North-West, so vaguely from there.

"Where did we learn to smell the ice cream" -obviously a Goonies Reference -Anything involving "Chunk" -The Lighthouse Lounge -Fratelli's Restaurante -Could just mean any ice-cream store -Something shaped like ice cream -Movie Theatre

"Or did we have lobster in the past" Lobster: -NOT a business -Any body of water other than GSL is likely to have Crawdads -Something shaped like a lobster (claw) "In the past" -Going back, the way you came -going into past Satellite pictures on Google Earth

"When you see the sunrise again" -When you can see East -When you can see something with "Sunrise" in the name

"Go straight ahead, you can do it" -My theories are this one is STRAIGHT forward (haha) just go forward

"Look at the Numbers as if you were a crow" -Birds Eye View, measure on Google Maps

"The Age when he arrived is what I observe" This number explains distance, unknown unit (maybe that's why there the lowercase d, distance on a grid is marked d, decimeter (1/10th of a mether) is dm, and decameter (10 meters) is dam) -1485 (0) - Arrives in the world -1499 (14) - Arrives at University of Salamanca -1504 (19) - Arrives in Hispaniola -1519 (34) - Arrives in Mexico -1524 (39) - Arrives in Honduras -1528 (43) - Returns to Spain -1530 (45) - Returns to Mexico

"Now you are close, one more clue, Find the place with the best view" Pretty self explanatory, the treasure is either atop a hill, or under some tall rock/tree/etc.
