Taking a less literal perspective on "where the choir sing"
Choir's by definition are usually religious, specifically catjolic/Christian (probably more catjolic with Spanish focus) so looking at Biblical mentions of choirs I found . . .
2 chronicles 5:12-14
"and all the Levitical singers, Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, their sons and kinsmen, arrayed in fine linen, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, stood EAST OF THE ALTAR with 120 priests who were trumpeters; 13 and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the Lord), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord . . ."
So it could be read "the shortcut east of the altar"
Shortcut could be a literal shortcut (Donner/Dominquez-Escalante), a canyon (shortcut through mountain range), bridge (shortcut over water), tunnel (shortcut through mountain) or even just a connecting road or trail.
The Altar could be anything, Utah has plenty. The Altar of Sacrifice is well outside the bounds. Temple Square seems obvious, but isn't impossible.
Obviously, said Altar will be westward of said shortcut, and said shortcut will have a namesake to then go to.
Any help with brainstorming is very appreciated!!!
