My personal opinion is that there's a bit of obscurity and secrecy still around "JacquiGATE".

I don't think bad about John or Dave, but trying to ease the tension on the podcast with more ambiguity and an explanation that can't be verified is an extremely smart way to shut down the conspiracy. I want to believe them, but my cynical side can see them running point on a cover story bc maybe John made a mistake and they don't/can't have that out. Maybe Dave wasn't even involved at all, tbh.

They KNOW it was fake account yet they 95% sure know who it is but they won't release a name. The person hasn't claimed their 5k, Chelsea lied, and how is it that Dave's youtube video used the same/nearly wording and images as 'Jacqui' in the DMs she sent prior to the solve to those hikers? Chelsea's daughter insisted that her mom worked SUPER hard and solved it together at their dinner table here on Reddit, only to have Chelsea admit she lied thereafter. I appreciate them trying to get in front of this, and I do like them, but my gut says there's more to the story that we may never know.

I dunno. What'dyall think? Am I overanalyzing it? Being too cynical or negative? Something in my gut still feels like something is missing we wont ever know. I do condemn the hate messages/threats, bullying of anyone tho - unless they're a child predator,
