Revisiting this, I interpret what John has said as, from the time you leave your car, get the treasure, and get back to your car, the 'Hike' isn't going to be longer than 7 miles.
NOT:
- The Trail is 7 Miles
- The treasure is 7 miles
- The trail is 14 miles
- The trail is 3.5 Miles
Meaning, the hike to get the treasure, if done most accurately, won't be a hike longer than 7 miles total - treasure in hand. Meaning, the treasure could be on a 14 mile long trail, but the treasure wouldn't be any farther than the 3.5m one way.
AGREED?
ALSO, I am headed out in 2 hours! My post from 3 nights ago, and last night, are all in regard to my trip today, for the haters who say I have said I have found it multiple times.... I havent. ;) I just cant slip away, being a FT dad and holding a FT job, I have to plan my hiking trip in advance bc my 5yo couldnt make the trip, but he is also too big to backpack on my back anymore.
