Lecture attendance compulsory for M. Physio?

Is attendance is recorded for lectures? I completed my undergrad here at usyd but attendance was never recorded, just strongly recommended. I was wondering is the situation is different for post grad?
Also, if anyone is/was in the program, I would love to have a quick chat for some tips before the sem starts :)
