Books on Soviet life, written by (former?) citizens?
Post Body

I've been looking to get more insight into how the people themselves viewed viewed their lives, and the outlooks they had on the world which were shaped by their society and culture. Even more ideal would be private journals/diaries written during the USSR's existence, but even simple firsthand accounts seem to be buried under the mountains of literature on why the Soviet Union was good or bad on an economic/political scale, so I'll take what I can get if. If anyone has suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them
