Mail Theft??

Hello, I signed up for informed delivery and I got an email with pictures of my mail. Yesterday, one of the mail was a refund check. I received all of ny mail that was in the email but the refund check. I am wondering if the USPS delivery person forgot it or it wasn't in the truck or it was stolen. If it is stolen, then what should I do? Thanks
