Opinion on bonuses for long tests

Post Body

I’ve seen a couple posts critical of “This test will be longer than usual. If we’re happy with your work, a bonus will be added to your account.”

I’m pretty indiscriminate with which tests I take, because some money is better than no money, and also I was curious.

Honestly, the test was super fun and I felt like I gave pretty good feedback. It took less time than they said it would.

I was expecting maybe a $5 bonus, but it was actually $15, so more than double my compensation for the time. I was curious if all bonus compensations are $15, or if it varies by test/performance? Do you guys take these tests or skip them since the bonus isn’t guaranteed?
