What's the best solution for recording phone screens during usability tests?

Did a little bit of research and found...

UX recorder but that's limited to websites only (not apps). http://www.uxrecorder.com/

And connecting your iphone to a mac and record via quicktime. http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-record-your-iphones-screen-and-audio-using-a-mac/

Just wanted to see if anyone's tried either of these options or can recommend something better. For example, are there any services that will allow you to see finger movements and taps? Thanks!
