Hey there,
Making one’s own portfolio has got to be one of the worst things you ever have to do as a designer, especially in this over-saturated economy.
I’m close to finishing the updates to my website so I can start job-hunting May onwards, but I’m getting too stuck on certain parts because of the sheer diversity of advice swimming in my head from various different people in regards to best practices and what not :/
I’ve realized that all I need is to not be doing this in isolation. I need a fellow design buddy to be able to bounce my ideas off of.
I’m looking for folks who have at least 3-4 years of expereince and are based out of the US so that we can relate to each other better and sync-up our timings.
I’d be so very thankful if there’s anyone at all willing to hop on a call with me within the next couple of days and let me bounce my ideas off of you.
And it goes without saying that I’m happy to offer you my 2¢ on anything you’d like just as much!
P.S.
I’m a 26 y/o UX Designer with 4yoe based out of the Bay Area in California.
