Advice to a Us army soldier considering switching to coast guard

Post Body
Hey guys,
Iโm coming to the end of my time with the us army, a big reason for me wanting to get out is I now have two children and I donโt like spending time apart for deployments and Month long field problems. I like water, I was a swimmer in high school, and I wanna spend time closer to home (Wisconsin). What is the likelihood I could be on the Great Lakes coast guard? What are some good job fields I could try to get into with the coast guard that transfer to civilian life?
