Hello,
This is a long shot, but my grandfather died on USS Leopold in 1944 and is buried at Cambridge American Cemetery. I asked for assistance months ago but sadly did not receive help on this from official organizations for months. I would love to get a rubbing of my grandfather's name on the monument if possible for my father. He's terrified of flying after being in a plane crash and this would mean a great deal if I could surprise him with something like a rubbing, or even a picture of his father's name there (if it exists). If someone knows a way for this to happen - crossing fingers before Xmas (and I will pay to expedite but I know unlikely- I would tremendously appreciate it. Please DM me if anyone has any ideas, I really had no help through channels I tried.
Thanks
Nick
