I will be graduating with a 2.9 GPA with a bachelors degree in Liberal Studies this Fall. I took a reprieve from college for approximately 6 years. I am currently 29 and have been working corporate gigs throughout this period. I understand the USCG prioritizes applicants with a STEM degree who possess over a 3.0 GPA. Am I better off enlisting and applying to OCS or immediately submitting my application as a civilian?
