Hi all,
Visitor from Belgium here. Planning to visit US in November, single traveller. Am a history and culture buff, intellectually interested, but like some sun as well. Am gay, but not into the scene/bars/clubs etc. Enjoy to visit off the beaten track - places.
Intending to arrive in NYC and leave from there as well, reasonably priced flight.
I would like to spend one or two days in NYC (been there once before) and take flight to New Orleans, around 5-6 days. Visit the city, excursions into the bayou and to former plantations. Spending a week or more in N O is recommended or not? Or just 3-4 days
After that I had might want to go to Miami. Good weather, beaches, but what else is there to do in Miami? Museums? Historic buildings? How many days to spend there?
Or should I visit Charleston SC?
Advice welcome
