Long story short my wife is a GS 6 for a DOD agency and has been applying to internal positions to her agency, even details to get some well rounded work experience. Sheโs been not selected for all positions but was always told she should keep trying.
My wife found out that one of the selected individuals for said positions was actually the selecting officials sister in law.
That being said I asked what this selecting official title was and itโs the admin officer who has been the one not selecting my wife for said positions.
Am I reading between the lines here or what?
Update:Thanks for all the comments
I did want to add that the admin officer indirectly supervises their sister in law. When I say indirectly I mean the admin officer assigns the admin associate to branches and serves that branch through the admin associate.
