Hey guys, unfortunately I had to join this group but my life has been absolutely hell the past 2 months. I am MISERABLE. Long story short, I have CIU and have had it on/off since middle school but it was "controlled by antihistamines, then I went in remission throughout high school, then it came back in sophomore year of college, was controlled by Allegra, then it wasn't and that's when I started xolair in 2019 and it was a miracle drug for 5 years up until 2 months ago, I've been breaking out and of course nothing works but high dose steroids. I had an ob back in 2020 cus I missed 4 injections and it took 4-5 months for the xolair to kick back in. Idk if that's the case this time because I was late on like 3 injections before I started breaking out again but I didn't miss, just late. Idk what's going on of if xolair is going to kick back in, I can't keep taking steroids because my blood sugar/pressure but that's the only thing that is keeping me sane. No antihistamines help, not even doxephin/hydroxyzine/pepside. The next thing to try would be an immune suppressant unfortunately To I really don't want to but that's all that's left. I don't want kidney damage or anything but the itchy burning hives are HELL on earth. Literally. Anyways, if anyone has been in this situation where xolair stopped working, what did u do? And is anybody on an immune suppressant? Or tried dupixent? I just need some hope because I've been extremely sucdal
