24F USA, been dealing with this my whole life. I’ve been having recurrent UTIs since I was a BABY. Fast forward to 2018, I basically force the doctors to test me for Mycoplasma. I was positive for Ureaplasma. Then fast forward to 2021, I’m diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondilitis. Since then I have been battling Ureaplasma with doxycycline. Now, about 3 days ago, I came back positive for Mycopoasma. Now I have to start doxycycline AGAIN and moxifloxicin. But what’s the point? This article I have posted makes it seem like people with autism immune diseases will always have this bacteria harming them…. I’ve been finding soooo many doctor articles regarding the link between auto immune diseases and Myco/Ureaplasma. I can post more if anyone is interested. At this point, I’m kind of giving up. I’m sure by the time I’m 50 there will be a cure but by then I will be infertile and probably in pain. Oh well.
