Hi all. This group may transfer to a more inclusive group that will also include men who need support.
The main ureaplasma group has been taken over by moderators that are exclusively male and not willing to consider that the female experience is sometimes different.
They actively ban women who speak out and also remove posts asking for support.
We want to create a space where people can feel supported and not gaslit by fellow redditors for having symptoms that do in fact exist. No, it is not always PFD. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it is not. No it is not always a coinfection. Sometimes it is, sometimes not. Also the main group has absolutely no idea what to do outside of antibiotics and pfd. A situation like mine where ureaplasma grew long term and resulted in 20 coinfections, most of which doctors have no idea about, let alone how to treat, is not helped on his forum. Other girls and guys with recurrent issues have also not been supported.
Best of luck you all.
