Hey guys so I’m out living in San Marcos, CA. I usually stay in the parking lot of a Burger King towards the back where there’s hardly anyone ever there. I’ve talked to a few cops that drive by and they’ve told me that yea it’s private property but as long as I’m not doing anything and they’re not getting calls about me being there that I don’t have to worry. They’ve all been cool about until today when 2 cops showed up and took me out of the car and all but handcuffed me, they searched the car upside down and questioned me and everything, then they said that I had an hour to get it they’d come back and tow the truck. I told them about the other cops and they said that the law was the law and I was lucky I wasn’t getting even a citation. So right now my question is, what places are okay to stay at? Because they said public places but I don’t know what that exactly includes and I’m not trying to run into the same asshats again.
