As the title implies, at 55 years old, married and working seemingly all the time, it's hard to meet new people. Our social circle just seems to be getting smaller and smaller.

I would love to meet interesting people approximately 35 to, say, 60. But these are not hard and fast limits.

Ok, something about me: I've been an IT professional for more years than I can count, but recently change fields and I'm finding it very rewarding, if a little challenging.

I love watching movies, generally Sci-fi, Thrillers, Mysteries, Documentaries, and bizarre cult movies. Occasionally a Rom-Com, but not really into slasher films, but you know, tastes change. I used to be a voracious reader, but my free time dwindled, so did the amount I read did too.

I have a dry sense of humor, sometimes even dark, but I can also be very Pun-ny.

I can generally carry on a decent intelligent conversation, if I do say so my self. But I'm somewhat introverted, so I can't carry the conversation by myself.

I'm an amateur astronomy when the weather is warmer and have been know to set up my telescope in parking lots and street corners to show passers-by whatever happen to be up in the night sky.

Now I'm primarily looking for meet new friends to hang out with, share interests, etc. But it wouldn't be Reddit if I wasn't also interested in something a little spicier. So to that end, I'll give a brief description of myself too. I'm 5' 11", dad-bod, grey hair (though often shaved bald, cause I'm balding and doesn't bald look better than balding?) Almost always have a goatee and moustache, but at the moment, I'm sporting full beard, cause its winter in CNY. If it turns out you're looking for spicy too, we can talk about that as well.
