Hello and welcome to the new and improved r/upstatenyr4r

The rules have been updated to reduce spam and scammers on our page and to increase usability of the sub. Other than deterring spam the most noticeable change is the Location Flair requirement.

ALL POST MUST USE A LOCATION FLAIR! Please select the flair most appropriate for your location or where you are looking for.

Temporarily I have also added the option to post pictures. If as a community we decide we don't want to go that direction I will change it back to text only.

There is an auto-moderation feature set up which will not allow accounts suspected to be spam to post, it will also not allow accounts with low age and or low karma to post. If your account has low karma and you wish to post please use the Modal feature and we will review it on a case by case basis.
