Anyone familiar with this educational film?
Post Body

Edited to add more/more accurate info

Hi there! My mom is from western NY and sometime in the late 70s/early 80s she saw an educational film reel in school (most likely elementary). The main part she remembers is the opening where it showed a live action mule pulling a boat down the Erie Canal with someone singing ā€œapple pie and mamaā€™s cookinā€™, truly Americanā€ over top the footage. She said it was most likely American or New York history, possibly surrounding the aerie canal. She cannot remember if it was black and white or color. We have searched for this film reel for years checking many archives. I have also asked r/helpmefind and I donā€™t feel this meets the criteria for r/lostmedia. I know this is a huge stretch of anyone recognizing it but I feel this may be the one place where someone would know. Thank you for any help, she really appreciates it!
