A ubisoft service is not available at the moment

I was trying to play r6s today, but I cant login to uplay, it just keeps saying, "A ubisoft service is not........" I checked task manager and saw that uplay was not using any Internet.... I tried resetting my Internet explorer settings....cleared proxy settings as well.
But no luck. Anyone facing or faced the same issue while playing rss? And can anyone suggest me something about fixing it??
