Why are there zero updates on campus safety

update NY Times just released an article calling this a “Crime of Passion”

What?

I truly don’t understand what is going on. It’s been 24 hours, 4 students are dead. They put out a shelter in place order, then remove it, say they don’t “believe” there is any further threat. Cancel class, but how in the WORLD is there no updates?

Was it a OD? I feel like if it was, they would have explicitly stated that. What worries me is that this is something much, much worse, and they are not giving updates as they don’t want to cause mass hysteria.

Terrible situation.
