Modded server not loading.... ever.

Hello, my friend tried to get me to play some unturned with him. It sounded like fun so I said sure, took the 7 hours to download the game because it kept going from 2 Mbp/s to 0 over and over. Then I get in to find that the servers he wants to play on can't load because they are modded (yes i have the mods downloaded) anyone know a solution? (I'm stuck in the loading screen after pressing "Join" on the IP server)
