I'm not sure if this has already implemented in the game already. But it makes sense for higher tier loot to have bleeding protection bonuses. Why doesn't high tiered armour only reduces damage taken from gunshots and melee, and not reducing the chance to bleed? Think about it this way. You have one Bambi, running around with a civilian vest. Since it's clearly designed to protect from gunshots, we'll say that when being fired that in that region, you have a certain chance to not take bleeding damage. If you had another Bambi, who is wearing a Parka, that might provide a little bit of protection, but not as much. Veteran 3.0 players such as myself all remember the one old trick that cargo pants and parkas actually had more camouflage and armour bonuses than military gear, and Nelson was right to fix it. (After all, surviving a grizzly headshot was complete bullshit.) But now, thief gear is considered the best in the single player game, while Spec Ops is better for multiplayer, despite having less slots for loot. If spec Ops loot is so rare, I would least expect it to protect against zombie bites an blessing rather than just gunshot damage reduction.
