I for the life of me can not figure this out.
The object you play in my game is a physics ball. Most things I can get to work except for the right sounds to play.
When I bounce or hit a wall, I want to play a bouncing sound. When I'm rolling on the ground (or maybe the wall) I want to play a rolling sound. I've tried detecting velocity, the impact velocity or using delays for the bounce sound and nothing seems to work the way i need it without playing the bounce sound a million times (literally) or just not working at all. Using onHit or even overlap does not work the way I need it to.
Think marble blast platinum for reference i guess.
When I'm in contact with the ground and moving, play rolling noise.
When I collide with ground or wall to bounce, play bounce noise.
Bonus points for helping me play different sound based on surface material.
If anyone knows how to help or a good solution to this problem it would greatly appreciated. Thanks!
