I find an odd comfort in hearing my housemates up late, I’m talking 2-4am. I grew up in a household that was always busy, someone watching tv at 3am etc. I just was always able to sleep through it. I also always enjoyed that there was someone to talk to.

When I was in my party years, I could always sleep through a party and somewhat found it fun to wake up and find random people in our hallway at 2am even though I had to be at work early. I just always enjoyed that chaotic energy. I am a extrovert and always enjoyed just meeting random ass people.

These days I’m a lot older, and I cannot do the party house anymore, but I do still find comfort in hearing my housemates play video games really late or watching a movie. It doesn’t bother me
