Now let me start by saying that I mean this in moderation because people who always complain 24/7 (especially about the same exact thing) are an annoyance. I do think that people who complain about things like someone that cut them off in traffic or in line at Starbucks or even just about things they hate (it could be minions) are people who I value because they have passion in their heart to like and also dislike. I would hate to know someone who is always positive just the same as someone who is always negative.
