No Way Home was disappointing
I don’t know how unpopular this opinion is, but I was disappointed by NWH. It was a fun watch yeah, but plot wise just forgettable and lazy.
I thought the concept of having to help change these villains before sending them back so they maybe don’t die was just ridiculous. I mean what happens when they get sent back? They’re back at the exact moment before they die and finally have some consciousness? What does that imply for the movies that they were in?
I think humanizing villains, especially ones from over the top comic book inspired films like Raimi’s is just not a good idea. And I think Tom’s spidey risking the lives of his friends, family, and everyone in his universe to save a few villains was just stupid. They couldn’t think of a reason to get everyone on screen together so they went with that.
It just felt like fan service: The Movie, when it had a lot potential and could have been a long lasting favorite, but we got this instead. I have a lot more criticisms of the movie, but I’ll keep it at this. Did you like the movie or have problems with plot?
